The bus will take you from Geiranger village through numerous hairpin bends towards Dalsnibba. Our first stop is Flydalsjuvet, a beautiful vantage point with the best view of the Geirangerfjord. After a short stop we will continue on various serpentines by bus over Nibbevegen to the famous mountain Dalsnibba with the “Geiranger Skywalk”. This is an observation deck that stands 1,500m (4,921 ft) above sea level. Once again, you will be able to enjoy breathtaking views over Geiranger and the Geiranger fjord. On the way back, you will drive past Djupvatnet, a lake about 1,000m (3,280 ft) above sea level.
Before returning to the pier, you will travel by bus across the famous Eagle Road. On the steep slopes you can see goats pasturing. As soon as you arrive at the last curve, the bus will stop. From there you will again have a majestic view over the Geirangerfjord and the famous waterfall “Seven sisters” (De sju systrene). This waterfall consists of seven adjoining waterfalls that fall into the Geirangerfjord.
On the last trip of the bus ride, you will have time to recall the gigantic views and impressions before being brought back to Geiranger by your driver.
We wish you a great shore excursion in Geiranger and its surroundings!
